Organic Sweet Tomato and Chilli Chutney
Good Points: It's organic! Apparently cooked in open pans (not the vacuum pans plus loads of modified starch you sometimes get). Great chilli kick without it being offensively hot.
Bad Points: None really - unless you don't like chilli at all!
General comments: This is one of two organic chutneys in the EPC range (the other is Spicy Onion I think). They are in the usual distinctive square glass jars. I bought mine in ASDA though I have also recently found they have an online shop. The thing that strikes you most is the firm texture. Most other branded chutneys are becoming increasingly watery. As a result its more concentrated and a little goes a long way, making it really good value for money. Also, unlike some organic brands you could mention, the organic 'premium' you pay is actually quite small. I also like the Spicy Onion but that is VERY peppery and yet also quite sweet. Of the two, I prefer this one.

Then I scurried off to the kitchen to fix something together. Proof positive that blogging can be bad for your girth, dammit. Big shout out to the English Provender Company, by the way, for their somewhat excellent tomato and chili ...
