BBC Good Food Show

At the time, we didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It's no exaggeration to say we were overrun for five days on our stand in Hall 20 of that mini-city we call the NEC.
But it was worth it. It's the one occasion when we feel we can leave others to stir the pans back at base, and mingle with a very passionate and knowledgeable band of EPC fans. Clearly you all appreciate the opportunity to see, try and buy the whole range. And this year's new Gift Bags clearly went down a treat. Tell us what YOU thought of our stand, our products and the show in general. Is is a trip worth making? What was the most exciting thing you saw? Whose autograph did you get? We'd love to know.

Well since you ask, there were two highlights for me: firstly the lovely people from Spicentice whose spice kits bring astounding simplicity to authentic Asian food. I've since been back and bought some of their stuff online.
The other was Doves Farm. I've recently started baking my own bread again and their flour range is amazing. The basic strong white and wholemeal flours give great results. You should try it. It's not nearly as difficult as you might think and you don't need a breadmaker. I also got hold of some of their Kamut flour which is descended from flour the Egyptian pharoahs would have eaten. It's similar to spelt, another flour they do very well. And now I have something worthy of putting my Luxury Lemon Curd on.
